Meet Your Maker, National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh

We're delighted to be one of six makers to showcase the design, processes and techniques behind our work at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. Makers from a variety of disciplines give a unique behind-the-scenes look at their craft work as part of Meet Your Maker. Ever fancied a taster of printing your own fabric? In conjunction with Craft Scotland, join us in the beautiful National Museum of Scotland for a FREE drop-in workshop where you will produce your very own two colour pattern sample onto fabric, using the museum’s collection as inspiration. We have been chosen to exhibit in the inaugural 'Selected' at Dovecot Studios, alongside a range of other Scottish makers across a number of disciplines including wood and metal, ceramics, jewellery, furniture, textiles, glass and silver. Find out more.
Lastly, if you are interested in textiles or work in the industry, we recommend booking tickets for the Scottish Textile Symposium on Thursday 20th November from 9.30am-6pm. The STLA are bringing to Glasgow’s Lighthouse an opportunity for those working in textiles to learn, engage, debate & discuss the future of Scottish textiles. We've just booked our tickets, see you there!
