The Ferguslie Dye Gardeners is a free, fortnightly group for residents of Ferguslie Park to learn, grow, share and create natural dyes and print pastes from flowers and plants we cultivate together in the Sculpture House Dye Garden throughout the growing season.

Our third Dye Garden Social event is now live...

Discover the beauty and advantages of natural dyes. You will learn how to use them, as Teresinha shares the secrets of bright colours from natural dyes. This talk covers the history of dye plants and how to grow them. You will be able to see actual dye plants and find out which colours they produce with samples of dyed silk and wool.

I'm excited to share that I'm organising a monthly events programme over at my print studio and dye garden base at Sculpture House in Paisley.

Join us on the evening of the 24th May for our first Dye Garden Social where Bevan O’Daly (Bawn Textiles) and Siobhan McKenna (ReJean Denim) will share their thoughts on sustainability in Fashion & Textiles through the lens of their own inspiring local businesses.

Back in mid January of this year, I went down to London to take part in a two day introductory course into working with Natural Print Pastes and Dyes by the lovely team behind Ceres Studio.

For three days in October, we'll be hosting our very own pop up shop at Nicolls in the west-end of Glasgow. You'll be able to see and shop our most recent project with Love & Squalor in person as well as pick up some Laura Spring bargains - perfect for Christmas gifts! We've also invited three of our favourite makers to join us on different days - energyPLEASE!, Cecilia Stamp + Hilary Grant...

This Saturday the 11th September, we'll be popping up at Bawn, an ethical textile atelier in the southside of Glasgow. From 10am to 6pm come and see our latest collection in real life - a collaboration with another Glasgow based business, Love & Squalor.
