Another busy month has passed and we'd like to share some of our favourite moments with you all!

Firstly, we were delighted to be featured on the wonderful lifestyle blog HomegirlLondon at the start of the month.

September has been a busy month at Laura Spring - from jetting off to the infamous international design show Maison & Objet in Paris to showing our newest collections at designjunction as part of the London Design Festival and more. So we thought we'd share some of the highlights with you all.

Curated by Katy West, 'India Street Part 1: The Bombay Sample Book' is an exhibition exploring new responses to the Turkey red archive of Scotland and indigenous textiles of India. I was invited alongside six other designers from Scotland and India to explore this archive and produce my own sample in response to this.

Grey Wolf Studios (131 Craighall Road, Glasgow, G4 9TN) is hosting an exciting sample sale featuring an amazing line up of designers, makers and artists on the 25th and 26th July.

Small is beautiful was an amazing two day conference that was held in Glasgow on the 4th June and 5th June by  Deborah Keogh and Roanne Dodds with the aim of providing 'insight, intelligence and ideas about how to thrive as a committed micro'.

Earlier this year we were approached by Lush to create an exclusive print design for the opening of their new Buchanan Street store. We were really excited and flattered to be given this opportunity, so working to the brief of the word 'fresh', we created the following design and screen printed a limited edition of 200 bags from our Glasgow studio. 

It's only a week away now and we're really excited about the new products and print designs we are about to launch at Pulse next week! We're really looking forward to sharing them with everyone very soon, but for now here's a few sneak peeks to get your guessing about what we've been up to so far this year...

Openaries is one of the events at this year's Glasgow International festival and takes place at three different locations on three different dates during the festival. It's hosted by artists Laura Aldridge and Anna Mayer who have built a portable ceramics kiln that will be used to fire objects offered by local artists or practitioners.

We think Mum's are great! If you do too and want to get your Mum a gift this Mother's Day, then we are offering a free gift wrap service on all orders for this occasion! We'll wrap up your gift in tissue paper, tie some lovely butchers string around it and add a personal note of your wording!

Last week we showed you how we screen print the fabric for our duffel bags in our studio, now we want to give you a glimpse into how we make them up and the materials we use.
