Myself and Hilary Grant recently took a trip together and spent a lot of time discussing Black Friday...this is a refined version of our thoughts and conversation on that trip:

"This year a few of us small business owners have decided to opt out of the Black Friday promotion or have decided to scale back their discount offering..."

Last week we were lucky enough to be selected as one of thirty British companies to travel to Tokyo to take part in the UKTI Fashion & Lifestyle Mission held at the British Embassy. Having never been to Tokyo before, or Japan even, this was an opportunity that we couldn't quite believe was happening.

We're excited to be hosting another summer sale at our studio this the Friday 17th July from 5pm - 9pm! We've invited an amazing selection of designers and makers to join us who will all be selling their wares and offering some great deals to customers for one-night only!

We are pleased to announce that we will be sharing a stand with the brilliant Hilary Grant at this years Spirit of Christmas, held in Olympia, London.

For those of you that are not familiar with Hilary's work then you're in for a treat! Based in Orkney, Hilary Grant is a luxury knitwear label that focusses on craftsmanship, using high grade lambswool to create beautiful, colourful and practical Scottish knitted scarves, hats and gloves.
