Previous commissions have included bespoke design and printing of roller blinds for a gallery and sewing workshop, fabric booths and panels for a restaurant/bar, changing room curtains for an independent fashion boutique in Glasgow City Centre and a limited edition bag print for a design shop in Canada.

Laura Spring is an independent designer/maker based in Glasgow whose current practice draws inspiration from everyday experiences such as the weather. She is currently focusing on the relationship between a print and it’s function through the design and production of textile products such as bespoke luggage and clothing.
2011 has seen Laura complete a craft residency at Cove Park in Scotland and launch her weather inspired luggage collection at “Spotted” at Top Drawer in London.
